Characteristics of ω-oil

• Produced by fermenting vegetable oil.
• Microbial enzymes decompose vegetable oil.
• Has rich in Linoleic and Linolenic Acid
• Contains mannosylerythritol lipid(MEL), a biosurfactant, which has an excellent silky touch as cosmetics.

Physical properties of Linoleic/linolenic acid

• Linoleic acid : unsaturated fatty acid containing an 18 - carbon chain and two double bonds.
